This Primer online training program can be the first step to earning CPO® Certification or, it can be an excellent stand-alone education in the fundamentals of pool operations. This online curriculum follows the 18 chapters in the NSPF® Pool & Spa Operator™ Handbook, which is provided. Students have access to the Pool Operator Primer online course for six month period, which gives them the opportunity to review the material many times.
Successful completion of the Pool Operator Primer™ earns a Record of Completion. If you choose to pursue the CPO® Certification, contact us to enroll in a Pool Operator Fusion™ class within six months of completing the Pool Operator Primer™. The online course covers all 18 chapters in the Pool and Spa Operator handbook. There are 8 online lessons associated with the CPO Online Course. There is a test at the end of each lesson, for which you must achieve 100% on each, you have to review the material again and retake the test until you pass. You have up to six months to pass the online portion. Once you have completed the online portion you will be able to print out a certificate. This certificate must be presented to us at testing, please come back to our site once you have completed the online portion to find our next testing location and time. The cost of the online portion is $145.95.
Once you have registered on our site and payment is verified we will send you your login and password to access the National Testing Site. They will already have you registered—all you need to do is use your own login and password. The site will keep track of your progress. You will also have access to numerous educational and informative tools available to all students.
Please keep track of you login and passwords and remember to give your HOME address. You will become a National Certified Public Pool Operator, even though your work or facility made payment.
